Themes
4 - Brown Tanned Oil
This brown tanned oil with subtle green, red and light undertones is a favorite. It's well suited for casual earth tones (patterns OK) as well as leather, lace, denim etc. It's also a good choice for Sunday Best but it's too busy for formal attire such as tuxedos and gowns for which neutral colors such as a blue/grey old master, gray or white are best........ 7' tall x 10' wide.
7 - Gold Old Masters
Two toned golden yellow on brown, a classic. Will work nearly anywhere from dressed down while not too busy for formal wear.......... 7' tall x 10' wide
10 - The Gray Vignette
Gray Vignette - When undecided this beautiful and classic backdrop will work. An excellent neutral choice for bringing out the color and contrast of the subject by its ability to provide a soft tone with excellent separation.......... 7' tall x 10' wide
11 - Blue Gray
Another excellent choice when undecided. The Blue Gray provides a slightly lighter background than the Gray Vignette but maintains the same soft tone with excellent separation.......... 7' tall x 10' wide
16 - The Purple Floral Pattern
Excellent for children in formal attire such as Easter outfits or Baptism day clothing. 7' wide x 5' tall so it can be draped on a chair, cushion or even laid on the ground for overhead shots of infants.
22 - Stressed Wood Plank Wall
This Stressed Wood Plank Wall can also be used with no props and your choice of several flooring styles. You can view several other examples of this basic style at the end of this page.
24 - The Misty Arch
Very moody, works well for scenes of quiet contemplation and soft expressions wherein the subject does not look directly at the camera. Fall attire with dark and earth tones work well here as well as Renaissance period clothing. Also works well for woodland fantasy themes such as Elves, Ferries, Gnomes....etc........8' wide x 7.5'tall extending 5' onto the floor.
25 - The White Brick Wall
A basic, grunge, and popular backdrop, the brick wall provides great texture to just about any style from quiet contemplative postures to action and everything in between. Props, chairs and stools are provided but sitting on the floor or a standing pose work just as well. Exceptionally relaxed and/or tattered clothing work especially well here.
26 - Midnight Moon Balcony
Very Gothic, a great backdrop for dark clothing and extreme winter colors. Also works well with evening or formal wear or something that brings romance to mind. Can be used with or without the bench or other chairs and/or stools that are available.
27 - Winter Lane
The Winter Lane rarely needs props. Used widely for formal wear and cold weather clothing it is both themed and subtle. All colors will work but avoid warm weather attire.
28 - Infant and Toddler
Pink clouds on a blue sky. Moses basket shown but there are others. 7' wide x 5' tall so it can be draped on a chair, cushion or even laid on the ground for overhead shots.
31 - Infant and Toddler
Yellow stars over white clouds. Moses basket shown but there are others. 7' wide x 5' tall so it can be draped on a chair, cushion or even laid on the ground for overhead shots.
37 - The Cozy Kitchen
Props for this kitchen backdrop are both Holiday and Non Descriptive. This Kitchen can be modified for nearly any occasion from an "At Home" Christmas or colorful Easter to a warm and cozy backdrop for a more serious approach. As usual personal props are encouraged but not necessary.
40 - The Christmas Kitchen
Suggested available props shown. There are others and you may bring your own if desired especially personalized items like names on aprons or a favorite bowl. Be sure to wear Christmas colors or white, what you might expect to wear in a kitchen. Be creative with what you wear, make it fun! Chances are that you might get floured.
43 - Santa's Workshop
Some of the many props shown or you can bring your own, recognizable items always enhance and personalize the image to a greater degree but they are not necessary. Remember that this is a workshop so formal and frilly outfits and pastels will not work well here. Casual and relaxed earth tones and even distressed clothing (if you like) work best.
46 - The Christmas Mansion
Elegant for small families of 4 to 6. Play dress-up with your Sunday Best or dress down with PJ's. Well matched clothing in earth tones are best for this one. Avoid light pastels and bold busy patterns.
49 - The Gold Room
A wonderful setup for parents and small children playing in their PJ's or couples in dignified apparel. Patterns, vivid colors and pastels will work here. Warm and relaxing, most shots here are candid, taken sitting on the floor in something more comfortable. Another great choice is a standing pose dressed for a formal affair wherein any colors will work.
